About
Bio/Description

Veronica Li Aguirre is a PhD candidate in the Complex Infrastructure Systems (CIS) group at Princeton University. She earned her MS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with emphasis in Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Climate from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research applies data science and network analysis techniques to discover opportunities to improve the resilience of infrastructure systems for the benefit of all communities they serve. Before pursuing graduate studies, she worked in the engineering industry on projects that involved the planning, design, and construction of utilities, transportation, buildings, marine ports, and landscapes for US federal and local government agencies. She earned her BS degree in Environmental Engineering from the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department of the University of California, San Diego, with a minor in Urban Studies and Planning.
