Bio/Description

Manal Chetouani is a Fulbright Scholar and visiting researcher in the Complex Infrastructure Systems (CIS) group at Princeton University. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Geomatics and Surveying Engineering at IAV Hassan II in Morocco, where her research develops digital twin approaches for smart and sustainable urban mobility. Manal previously worked as a Geomatics and Surveying Engineer at Morocco’s National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre, and Cartography, where she led and contributed to large-scale territorial projects focused on transportation and urban infrastructure systems, including the planning and management of road and railway networks. During her Master of Engineering at IAV Hassan II, she focused on developing and automating a Scan-to-BIM approach for the rehabilitation of a heritage villa. As a U.S. TechWomen alumna and seed grant awardee, she further deepened her understanding of BIM and digital twins at Jacobs Engineering in Chicago to address transportation challenges. Her work centers on advancing smart and sustainable transportation systems through data-driven innovation.
